Don't Get Ghosted This Halloween, Get Creative!

Don't Get Ghosted This Halloween, Get Creative!

Let’s leave the ghosting behind us; send that text message letting them know that it’s just not going to work out because hot girl summer is about to begin, and instead let's create some art.

Did you experiment with nail art during any of the lockdowns? It’s totally fine if not, because we’ve come up with some easy Halloween-inspired looks for beginners. One of our in-house nail artists created 2 looks using gel polish and a toothpick! Make sure you have an LED Lamp to cure the polish or shop our DIY Gel Manicure Kit with LED Lamp and become a shellac pro at-home.

If you prefer to leave your nails to the professionals, why not go hard on the Halloween costume this year and impress all your friends with some really cool vampy makeup, or circus clown but make it hot? Tutorials below, we got you.

Nail Art: Boo Felecia!

What You'll Need:

Step-By-Step:

  1. Base Coat. Apply a thin layer of base coat. Cure to set.
  2. Base Colour. Apply 2 coats of Purple gel polish. Cure to set after each coat.
  3. Ghost. Using a toothpick, start drawing the ghost on the top corner of the nail with White gel polish. Use the pointy part of toothpick to manipulate the white to make the ghost appear to be floating. Cure to set.
  4. Face. Picking up a small amount of the Black gel polish with the toothpick, create 3 dots for the eyes and mouth. Cure to set.
  5. Eyes. Now with a tiny amount of white, create 2 dots in the top two black dots for the pupils of the eye. Cure to set.
  6. Top Coat. Apply top coat. Cure to set.
  7. Cleanse. Cleanse tacky layer using isopropyl alcohol and lint-free wipe. Wash hands thoroughly with soap to remove any residual product on the skin.
  8. Nourish. Apply cuticle oil to the cuticles and massage into surrounding skin.

  1. Base Coat. Apply a thin layer of base coat. Cure to set.
  2. Base Colour. Apply 2 coats of Nude gel polish. Cure to set after each coat.

Using toothpick and more Red gel polish, connect the tips of the blood at the cuticle line. Cure to set.
  4. Top Coat. Apply top coat. Cure to set.
  5. Cleanse. Cleanse tacky layer using isopropyl alcohol and lint-free wipe. Wash hands thoroughly with soap to remove any residual product on the skin.
